smash attack is the key shots used in volleyball and is probably one of the most difficult step to master.
TYPE OF SMASH
the smash smasher may vary by eliminating the cross court, down the line, hit the block and hit the speed control block. As usual, the ability of tactical player to decide which one to implement will determine whether they are an effective striker.
How to do a smash
To prepare for smash players must clean down to setter can set the ball in front of the smasher.
When jumping, both legs should be together to stop players from jumping forward into the net. Four-step approach is usually used as shown on below picture. swinging the opposite arm back and knees bent.
Power jump is a mixture of swing arm and straighten the knee and hip.
This approach should take the smasher to the place where the jump will be made before the jump.
Withdrawn hitting arm back and sides of the head, arms and straightens at the elbow when jumping with hands that move from the head to a position above and slightly in front of hitting shoulder.
When making contact with the ball is important to remember should be slightly cupped hands and touch the ball with the palm of the hand slightly in front of the shoulder hit.
